As a Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist, you serve as a subject matter expert, educator, and strategic partner to providers and healthcare stakeholders across New England.

You use data to identify opportunities and guide the implementation of evidence-based care, strengthening care transitions and advancing whole person health, including physical, behavioral health (BH), and substance use disorder (SUD) care. You provide coaching and technical assistance to support problem-solving, sustain gains, and scale successful practices, while connecting providers across the continuum through peer learning and coalition-building to address shared health care related challenges.

Our QI team brings experience across all care settings and deep expertise in areas such as patient safety, care transitions, quality management, and healthcare technology. We are continuing to expand our behavioral health and SUD capabilities and are seeking individuals with expertise and experience in these areas.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and engage providers across the continuum in Quality Improvement efforts
  • Use data to identify opportunities and guide improvement efforts
  • Identify and support implementation of evidence-based and promising practices
  • Develop meaningful and feasible measurement strategies
  • Provide coaching and technical assistance to providers
  • Facilitate peer learning, collaboration, and coalition-building across the continuum
  • Develop and deliver training, tools, and resources
  • Conduct environmental scans to inform promising practices
  • Manage projects, timelines, and reporting

 

  • Education: BA/BS is required
  • Credentials: LCSW/LICSW, CAC/CADC/LCAS, CCMHC, CBHT, etc. Other relevant behavioral health or SUD credentials considered
  • 3+ years of healthcare experience (QI, operations, or related)
  • Expertise or experience in behavioral health and/or substance use disorders
  • Demonstrated success in outreach, recruitment, partnership development, or stakeholder engagement
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with outreach, engagement, or partnership development
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and virtual collaboration tools

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 based upon the candidate's relevant experience. Most qualified candidates will fall within the mid-point of this range.
