Art Director (Product Design)

We’re looking for an Art Director (Product Design) to elevate the creative and visual quality of Hello Heart’s product experiences.

This is a hands-on role for a designer with exceptional craft and a strong product mindset—someone who can bring creative excellence (extra flare) into complex UX challenges. You’ll work closely with the VP of Product Design to ensure a high bar of visual quality, interaction design, and consistency across a growing B2B2C ecosystem that includes a connected device, AI-driven features, and behavior-change experiences.

• →Own and elevate the visual and creative quality bar across product experiences
• →Lead the design of high-impact product features and key user flows
• →Bring strong art direction into UX/UI, especially in complex and data-heavy scenarios
• →Define and evolve UI patterns, layouts, and visual systems across the product
• →Translate complex product requirements into clear, intuitive, and visually compelling experiences
• →Work closely with Product and Engineering to deliver high-quality end-to-end solutions
• →Stay hands-on, contributing directly to design execution on critical work
• →Run critiques and provide high-signal feedback to elevate overall design craft
• →Mentor designers with a focus on execution, clarity, and creative thinking
• →Explore and apply AI tools in design workflows

• 8–12 years of experience in product design / UX/UI
• Proven experience in a senior or lead design role
• Strong skills in UI, UX, interaction design, and information architecture
• A strong portfolio demonstrating high craft and creative problem solving
• Experience working on complex digital products
• Ability to balance creativity with usability and clarity
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering
• Familiarity with AI tools - must
• Mastery of Figma and modern design tools
