UI/UX Designer

Hellotext helps eCommerce brands in Latin America sell more through WhatsApp and SMS. We re a lean, profitable, fully remote team growing fast—and we want a designer who s as obsessed with user experience as we are. What You ll Do • Own end-to-end product design in Figma: wireframes, high-fidelity UI, prototypes. • Run lightweight UX research (user interviews, quick usability tests, competitor audits). • Maintain and evolve our Design System (typography, components, iconography). • Pair closely with Ruby on Rails engineers to implement your views flawlessly. • Prototype micro-interactions and animations that make merchants smile. Must-Haves • 2+ years designing digital products (SaaS, eCommerce, or B2B apps). • Portfolio on Behance or Dribbble that shows clear UX thinking and polished UI. • Deep Figma expertise (Auto Layout, variables, interactive components, prototyping). • Product-led mindset: you prioritize business impact over pixel-perfect for its own sake. • Excellent written communication in English (Spanish is a plus, not a must). Nice-to-Haves • Motion design skills (Figma Smart Animate, After Effects, Lottie, etc.). • Basic Ruby on Rails / ERB knowledge to tweak views, layouts, and assets. • Experience designing for LATAM audiences or eCommerce platforms.
