Position Overview

We are seeking a Christian Religious Education (CRE) / Bible Teacher  to support our Secondary Team in delivering engaging, biblically integrated instruction. The successful candidate will be responsible for lesson preparation, classroom management, student discipleship, and extracurricular support, in line with ACSI guidelines and MSA standards. This role requires a passion for Christian education, a servant-hearted attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in planning and delivering Christ-centered lessons.
• Manage classroom organization, displays, and preparation of learning materials.
• Supervise classes and activities .
• Encourage students’ spiritual growth through prayer, biblical counsel, and positive role modeling.
• Support differentiated instruction for varied learning needs, including Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to the respective Principal.
• Participate in staff devotions, professional development, and school events (including some evenings and weekends).
• Assist with extracurricular activities, student supervision, and community events as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Biblical Studies, Theology, or a related field.
• Active personal commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with Heritage International School’s Statement of Faith.
• At least one year of experience working with students in a school, church, or youth ministry setting.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting Bible instruction in a classroom setting.
• Familiarity with ACSI and MSA standards for Christian education.
• Proficiency with educational technology tools.
