Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and cook high-quality meals for both restaurant guests and banquet events
  2. Set up and maintain your assigned station before each shift
  3. Prepare meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and side dishes according to recipes
  4. Execute breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet production as assigned
  5. Maintain consistency, presentation, and portion control on every plate
  6. Support banquet production during weddings, conferences, meetings, and special events
  7. Work closely with fellow cooks, chefs, stewards, and servers to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  8. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout every shift

✔️ Prepare daily production lists accurately

✔️ Read and follow standardized recipes

✔️ Cook broiled, grilled, sautéed, roasted, and baked menu items

✔️ Inspect ingredients to ensure freshness and quality

✔️ Rotate and store food using proper food safety procedures

✔️ Monitor food temperatures for cooking, cooling, reheating, and storage

✔️ Follow all health department regulations and sanitation standards

✔️ Practice safe knife handling and proper equipment operation

✔️ Support restaurant and banquet operations during busy service periods

✔️ Assist teammates wherever needed to keep service running smoothly

✔️ You work with urgency without sacrificing quality

✔️ You take pride in producing consistently great food

✔️ You stay calm and focused during busy meal periods

✔️ You enjoy working as part of a collaborative kitchen team

✔️ You understand that cleanliness, organization, and food safety matter

✔️ You take ownership of your station and your work

  1. Current Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one)
  2. Restaurant, hotel, banquet, catering, or commercial kitchen experience preferred
  3. Experience with sauté, grill, broiler, breakfast, prep, or banquet cooking is a plus
  4. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen equipment
  5. Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP principles
  6. Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and production schedules
  7. Strong communication skills and a positive team attitude
  8. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences
