Seasonal Camp Counselor, Casey Farm

Description: Historic New England's Casey Farm seeks a seasonal Summer Camp Counselor to help run summer programs and participate in related tasks, including:  monitoring children, facilitating games/activities, singing songs, opening and closing buildings, setting up and breaking down program equipment, and of course, making crafts.  This position involves working outside in all weather conditions to provide fun and interactive hands-on activities and programs for our campers.  The camp day runs from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM  for ages 4 -12 with camp staff working an 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM schedule.  Staff training is the week of June 24 and will include CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications: 

• Applicants should have experience in at least one of the following categories:  camp, childcare, education, history, agriculture or environmental science.
• Must be at least nineteen years old and have completed one year of college. 
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills with a positive and enthusiastic outlook are a plus.
