Experience CNA for Companion Care in Montgomery Village

We are currently seeking a part-time companion caregiver in Montgomery Village for a client who experiences seizures and has epilepsy. Experience caring for clients with seizure disorders is required. This is a companion care position that includes accompanying the client to grocery shopping and other errands. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation
- Monitor BP and glucose levels
