Park Technician

The Park Technician position is responsible for manual work in the maintenance of City parks, public buildings and medians and facilities. Work is usually performed under direct supervision, but routine activities are often carried out independently. The position includes frequent internal contacts within the work unit and contacts with outsiders that are generally on matters such as furnishing or obtaining routine information or solving routine problems. Interaction is direct with customers, the general public, other department personnel or other agencies.
