System Integration Engineer / AI System Integration Lead

Job Duties:

API Development & Integration

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure RESTful APIs using C# and .NET.
• Build and support integrations across internal systems, third-party platforms, cloud services, and external agencies.
• Develop API contracts, validation, data transformation, and integration workflows.
• Modernize legacy integrations using API-first architectures.
• Support secure backend services and maintain technical documentation.

Azure Cloud Development

• Design and support solutions using Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Monitoring/Application Insights.
• Develop secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support applications across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Security, Authentication & Identity Management

• Implement Zero Trust security principles for APIs and applications.
• Develop authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWTs, and RBAC.
• Integrate and maintain Keycloak and other enterprise IAM platforms.
• Configure Keycloak realms, clients, roles, access policies, and authentication flows.
• Support tenant onboarding, token validation, certificate management, and secure secret handling.
• Partner with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Multi-Tenant Application Development

• Design and support multi-tenant applications serving multiple agencies and organizations.
• Implement tenant-aware routing, provisioning, and resource management.
• Support onboarding of new tenants through database provisioning, identity configuration, deployment, and testing.
• Automate onboarding and operational processes to improve scalability and efficiency.

Data & Enterprise System Integration

• Develop integrations with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Blob Storage, Dynamics 365 Dataverse, ArcGIS, OutSystems, Google Workspace, and enterprise content management platforms.
• Build synchronization services, scheduled jobs, and Azure Function-based integrations.
• Support secure document management, data migration, and integration modernization initiatives.

AI & Modern Application Integration

• Integrate AI-powered capabilities into enterprise applications and business processes.
• Develop APIs and services that interact securely with LLM platforms and AI providers.
• Collaborate with AI teams to expose enterprise data and functionality through secure APIs.
• Support intelligent document processing, workflow automation, AI assistants, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging AI integration technologies and patterns.

Production Support & Operational Excellence

• Maintain and enhance APIs, integration services, and Azure-hosted applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues, authentication failures, integration errors, and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in deployments, releases, code reviews, and operational support.
• Drive automation, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Other Duties

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Stay current with Azure, integration technologies, IAM platforms, and AI advancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
