Facility Safety and Prevention Specialist

As a Facility Safety and Prevention Specialist you will:

• Monitor video surveillance for any unusual or suspicious activity within and around the facility.
• Educate and train staff on proper safety and security procedures.
• Performs regulatory building audits, tickets, inspections, maintains reports and tracking systems to provide a safe and healthy environment for all patients and staff by maintaining regulatory and code requirement.
• Assist on site staff with de- escalation of patients, visitors, volunteers, venders, and employees.
• Monitor foot traffic in and out of the facility ensuring all personnel complete are authorized to enter the facility.
• Communicating with local law enforcement about any incidents and ensuring local and federal security compliance

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of relevant experience required.
• Leadership and ability to act in crisis.

This position is located at our facility at 291 Elm St, Buffalo NY.

This position is full-time from Monday - Friday 5:00pm - 12:30am.

Must have holiday availability (if your shift falls on a holiday, you will be paid time and a half).

If your shift falls on a holiday you will receive a floating holiday to use at a later date along with time and a half.

• Stationary posture, alternating between standing and sitting.
• Ascending/descending on various structures (e.g. ladders)
• Lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility required involving repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.
• Exposure to various environmental conditions including low/high temperatures, and outdoor elements.
