The Director of Strategy and Business Operations plays a central role in driving operational excellence and ensuring that the company’s strategic priorities translate into focused execution across the organization.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and analytics, acting as a force multiplier for the leadership team by structuring priorities, tracking progress on key initiatives, and ensuring alignment across functions.

You will own the company’s operating cadence, drive cross-functional initiatives, and support leadership in making data-driven decisions that accelerate performance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of the company’s key strategic initiatives across teams
  • Ensure clear ownership, scope, milestones, and success metrics are defined
  • Remove cross-functional bottlenecks and ensure initiatives progress at the expected pace
  • Act as the coordination point between product, operations, supply, and marketing

Own and structure the company’s execution rhythm (WBR/MBR/QBR):

  • defining the metrics and format used in reviews
  • aligns teams to deliver high-quality outcomes 
  • driving accountability on performance gaps
  • Develop and maintain the company’s driver trees
  • Define content and structure of performance dashboards 
  • Identify early signals in marketplace performance (conversion, supply liquidity, booking trends)
  • Work with functional leaders to identify root causes and corrective actions
  • Support leadership in resource allocation decisions 

Act as the central program lead to ensure key business integration programs across the group progress according to plan, risks are surfaced early, and the organization remains aligned on priorities and timelines:

  • aligning operating processes
  • ensuring consistency in product, commercial and operating models
  • tracking integration milestones
  • facilitating cross-functional collaboration across the board

Act as a thought partner to the CEO and leadership team by:

  • structuring decision making frameworks
  • preparing key strategic analyses
  • ensuring clarity on trade-offs and priorities

 

  • 7–10 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or high-growth tech companies
  • Experience in marketplaces, platforms, or scale-ups is a plus
  • Proven track record in driving cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to translate strategy into operational execution
  • A thought partner to leadership, with excellent stakeholder management
  • A pragmatic problem solver, with a strong bias toward action and execution
  • High degree of ownership and accountability
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments
