Radiologic Technologist Full-time Float Skyline Trauma Competitive Sign-on Bonus

• →Carries out radiology requisitions and views. Uses radiographic technique, PACS, and assists other staff members as needed.
• →Memorizes what views each physician requires on exams.
• →Assists patients in getting into the positions required to get the radiographs needed with the occasional need to lift the patient.
• →Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• →Stocks necessary supplies.
• →Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.
• →Assists with and provides direct training and supervision to student technologists.
• →Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports any malfunction to supervisor in a timely manner.
• →Imports and uploads outside CDs for clinic.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of course work in radiologic technology approved by the ARRT.
• Current ARRT certification & current TN licensure.
• BLS certification.

Required:

• Knowledge of radiographic technique
• Knowledge of PACS
• Vast knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy.
• Ability to work independently and have working knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
• Working knowledge of DR X-Ray equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Travel is required.
