Job Title: IT Specialist

Location: Guilford, Connecticut

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our IT department as an IT Helpdesk/Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This is an on-site position in Guilford, CT. 

• →Tier 1 and tier 2 response to user requests for technical support. 
• →Triage, assign, update, or resolve open tickets. 
• →Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues. 
• →Document solutions and update knowledge bases for future reference. 
• →Assist in setting up new user accounts, hardware, and software installations. 
• →Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff as needed. 
• →Assist with ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met; HIPAA, SOC2, HITRUST. 
• →Participate in on-call and after-hours support as necessary 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience or relevant certifications may be considered. 
• At least 2 years prior IT Helpdesk support experience in a corporate environment. 
• Knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems, Linux is a plus. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common IT tools, including Single Sign-On, system management/mobile device management, cloud-based storage, and web-based conferencing. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
• Cybersecurity experience is a plus.

• This is a full-time, on-site role based out of Hyperfine’s office in Guilford, CT.
• Available nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
