About the Role:

SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Villa Rica, GA. Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activity
Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
Coordinate with project managers and operations staff to track job costing and expenses

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience a plus)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
