About the Role:

Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Jersey Shore is looking for an experienced and driven Water Damage Lead Technician (Crew Chief) to join our growing team in Wall Township, NJ. This is your chance to lead hands-on restoration work, make a real difference for customers in their most stressful moments, and grow your career with a company that values your expertise.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise water damage restoration crews on residential and commercial job sites
Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment
Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters
Document job progress with photos, moisture readings, and daily drying logs
Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters throughout the restoration process
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with IICRC S500 water damage restoration standards
Train and mentor junior technicians on proper techniques and safety protocols
Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and efficient job completion

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in water damage restoration or a related field
IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Experience operating extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture detection tools
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call emergency response
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in demanding environments
