Job Summary
The Restoration Technician is responsible to perform emergency services, remediation and contents restoration work. Must adhere to EPA, OSHA, and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling. Prefer to have IICRC WRT, ASD and AMRT certificates. The individual must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carefully pack, label, inventory, and document customer contents
- Load and unload contents for transport to and from secure storage
- Wrap, protect, and stage furniture and personal items on-site
- Maintain accurate inventory records and photos
- Work closely with mitigation and restoration crews
- Keep vehicles, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized
- Willing to do Mitigation / Restoration work when needed
- Perform tasks at high elevations, including using ladders and scaffolding safely.
- Safely handle hazardous materials as required by the job.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work 8+ hours a day, depending on the job requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- IICRC Certification (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification) is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience 2- 4 years of packout / Mitigation is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with clients, team members, and management.
- Ability to safely operate equipment and handle physical tasks.
- Bilingual English / Spanish is encouraged
- All other duties as assigned
