Description

ILSC Greystone College, part of the ILSC Education Group, is a private College located in the heart of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide’s CBD. We are looking for professional and student-focused Academic Success Coordinators who are qualified VET Trainers and Assessors to support our students and academic teams across our five campuses.

The Academic Success Coordinator is a dual-function role that combines training delivery, assessment, student academic support and campus coordination. This position supports students throughout their learning journey by monitoring academic progress, assisting students at risk, supporting trainers, and maintaining academic standards across delivery and assessment.


Job Duties

Currently, we are looking for Academic Success Coordinators to be based at the following campus locations:

  • Sydney
  • Melbourne
  • Perth


The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting training sessions in accordance with course curriculum and training plans as required, assessing students, providing constructive feedback, marking assessments within required timeframes, and participating in validation and workshop activities.

 

The role will also involve conducting student support sessions, monitoring assessment submissions, following up on non-submissions, tracking student progression, identifying students at risk, and supporting appropriate intervention strategies. The Academic Success Coordinator will work closely with the National Academic Success Manager, Student Advisor team, VET Admin team, trainers and campus staff to support student engagement, attendance, welfare and academic success.

 

The position may also include filling in for on-campus trainers when required, providing guidance and support to casual trainers, and assisting with campus activities for VET students such as Orientation and Graduation.


Essential Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent
  • Relevant vocational qualifications
  • Experience in training, assessment and student support in a VET setting
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements in education and training
  • Passion for Vocational Education and Training and the international education sector
  • Student-centred approach to teaching and support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative and adaptable team player
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • A sensitivity to cultural and language issues facing overseas students will be highly regarded


Additional Information

  • During course terms, this position requires 4 days on campus, with hours aligned to scheduled sessions, and 1 day working from home.
  • During course breaks, on-campus days may be reduced based on operational needs.
  • This position includes a minimum of 14 hours of training delivery.
