The impact.com Onboarding teams own the first experience customers have after they decide to partner with us, and we set the tone for everything that follows. This work sits at a unique crossroads. Part project manager, part consultant, part platform expert, you'll immerse yourself in how businesses actually operate - learning their goals, their workflows, and what success looks like for them - then map all of that to our platform in a way that clicks. No two engagements are the same. One moment, we might be onboarding a scrappy five-person startup finding its footing, and then the next, partnering with a Fortune 500 business to roll out across global teams. The range of industries, business models, and challenges you'll encounter here is unique.

We're looking for people who can build trust quickly, think on their feet, and who get energized by the puzzle of understanding someone else's business. If you love the idea of combining client-facing work with deep technical know-how - and you want every day to look a little different - this role might be for you.

The Senior Onboarding Manager manages more complex onboarding engagements and acts as a trusted guide for customers during kickoff, integration & ramp phases. This role focuses on helping clients not only launch but also begin achieving meaningful business outcomes and early program value.

Senior Onboarding Managers also contribute to improving onboarding processes, documentation, and scalable delivery models.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex customer onboarding projects 
  • Provide strategic onboarding guidance aligned with customer goals.
  • Identify and proactively resolve onboarding roadblocks.
  • Help customers optimize their initial program setup for faster time to value.
  • Act as the primary onboarding advisor for clients.
  • Mentor junior onboarding managers and specialists.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Integration and Customer Success on customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding workflows and documentation.
  • Support scalable onboarding initiatives such as automated onboarding, templates, and playbooks.

 

  • Strong implementation or onboarding experience
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage complex customer environments
  • Project management and program planning skills
  • 4+ years client-facing experience
  • Proven experience managing implementations/onboarding projects or affiliate/influencer programs
