Responsibilities

  • Lead the Procure-to-Pay function — accounts payable, payroll and cash disbursements (wires/ACH) — ensuring accurate, timely and properly authorized payments
  • Lead the Order-to-Cash function — billing, accounts receivable, collections and cash application — across all four lines of business
  • Lead effort to establish proper governance, master data and system configuration to support scalable Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes to enable exception processing
  • Enforce cash disbursement processes and controls, including dual authorization on wires and ACH and segregation of duties from invoice approval and bank reconciliation
  • Partner with the General Ledger and financial reporting team on sub-ledger-to-GL reconciliations, accruals and cutoff to support a timely and accurate month-end close
  • Lead, coach and develop the operational accounting team, building cross-training and backup coverage for key payroll, disbursement and receivables roles
  • Establish and monitor operational metrics such as DSO, DPO, aging and payment accuracy, and drive continuous improvement against targets
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls across the transactional processes and support internal and external audit requirements
  • Drive process improvements and automation across the transactional cycles, and participate in special projects and system implementations as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive operational accounting experience across AP, AR and payroll/disbursements, including team leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and deadlines; ability to work independently and identify issues early; able to operate in the “grey” space; strong communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of internal controls and segregation-of-duties principles, with ERP and process-automation experience preferred
US Salary Range
$110,000$130,000 USD
