Join Riley Hospital for Children as a Milk Lab Technician, where you’ll help prepare and safely handle human milk and specialized nutrition for neonatal and pediatric patients. This role plays an important part in supporting care for some of our most vulnerable patients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, label, store, and deliver breast milk and specialized nutrition products
  • Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking
  • Operate milk lab equipment and maintain supplies
  • Partner with nurses and dietitians to support patient care

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Registration as a Dietetic Tech, Pharmacy Tech, or an Associate’s degree (required if hired after 7/3/2022)
  • Ability to learn food safety, sanitation, and clinical procedures
  • Basic computer skills (or willingness to learn)
  • Complete Formula/Human Milk Technician Certification within 1 year of hire
