Education Placement Coordinator

• →Initiates contact with school administrators to obtain field placements for all teacher candidates, analyzing each placement for fit, quality, and suitability
• →Identifies and resolves any issues in processes and procedures related to field placements
• →Creates and finalizes contractual arrangements with partnering school corporations, maintaining and cataloging all records
• →Ensures that all placement and training materials are accurate, current, and accessible to school partners, supervisors, and teacher candidates
• →Maintains and tracks all field placement records and related assessment data
• →Builds and maintains relationships with partnering schools
• →Makes arrangements for and hosts special events for student teachers, school partners, and supervisors

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred

• Office management
• Knowledge of and familiarity with area schools

• Excellent communicator, both in oral and written form
  • Generate, proofread, and edit written materials for varied audiences;
  • Conduct ongoing correspondence with professionals inside and outside of the university
• Interpersonal
  • Apply problem-solving skills in day-to-day interactions with faculty, staff, and students
• Dependable
  • Complete short- and long-term projects with minimal oversight
• Technology-proficient
  • Navigate variety of methods to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
