Student Success Coordinator

Responsibilities

- →Advise students regarding scheduling changes – understand drop/add, registration, billing, refund policies
- →Schedule plan and register students for course load, process any registration changes
- →Process permanent withdrawals/suspensions/administrative withdrawals including utilizing the withdrawal processor, ending of cluster, ending of advisor, and notification in Student Remarks
- →Process Leave of Absence (LOA) requests
- →Graduation
- →Monitor, update, change anticipated graduation date as registration changes occur in order to identify potential graduates for each conferral
- →Use outreach time table to communicate to students about upcoming graduation date, registering for graduation, ordering cap and gown
- →Certify for graduation
- →Engagement
- →Regulate and enforce Seminary Engagement Policy with all students via IT developed engagement report and communication with professors
- →Communicate with students regarding lack of engagement
- →Administratively withdraw students who have violated engagement policy
- →Track administrative withdrawals for repeat offenders
- →Additional Duties
- →Any other duties as assigned, requested, or needed
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in office settings preferred
- Superior oral and written communication skills in English
- Excellent computer skills with working experience in a variety of applications, especially Word and Excel
- Ability to relate and interact well with pastors, ministerial students, Seminary faculty/staff, and IWU community
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance with FERPA laws
