Global System 21 Aurora and JBA Subject Matter Expert, FMG

Force Motion Group (FMG) is seeking a high calibre Global System 21 Aurora and JBA Subject Matter Expert is responsible for monitoring and analysing service metrics, application performance, and system stability to identify continuous improvement opportunities across the SYS21 Aurora and JBA landscape. The role provides Level 2 functional and technical support across the application portfolio, ensuring effective resolution of issues and continuity of business operations. It drives enhancements and system improvements through the full project lifecycle, from requirements definition through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. The SYS21 SME holds functional accountability for the SYS21 ecosystem, including integrated systems, interfaced applications, and third-party solutions supporting end-to-end processes. The role ensures system integrity, data consistency, and alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards across all environments. It is responsible for driving adoption of both new and existing system capabilities across the business to ensure optimal usage and process standardization. This responsibility spans European and North American instances, ensuring global consistency in system usage and business processes.

• Drive severity-1 (emergency) service requests from analysis to resolution from the business perspective
• Support month-end close activities globally (24x7 during close)
• Collaborate with the Managed Service Provider team to resolve service requests
• Work with the Finance organize to ensure Managed Service Provider does not exceed budget
• Open, monitor, and resolve work service requests with 3^rd party vendors using skills, experience and knowledge of the software

• Perceive patterns in service requests to identify issues that may have the same underlying cause, use evidence-based analytical thinking to verify the relationships between issues and develop practical solutions fixing the underlying root cause
• Anticipate business information needs, develop necessary processes to meet these needs
• Research questions and problems using available information resources and acquire new information resources to support effective decision-making
• Ensure that business requirements include sufficient direction for capturing log file, or other messaging components include sufficient detail to ensure problems and performance issues can be understood and resolved
• Collaborate with staff to recreate problems in the test environment
• Develop alternative solutions to issues and weigh the relative strength

• Provide the interface to IT (corporate and local) between the internal and external application users
• Manage migration activities and ensure 3^rd party managed services does the work needed
• Ensure disaster recovery environments at hosted servers are supports
• Plan and execute a Mexico JBA move to RaqSquared or convert into System 21 Aruora
• Capture sufficient detail on requests for stakeholders to review, approve and prioritize changes and enhancements
• Translate loosely defined business needs into detailed design documents for consumption by IT (corporate and local) teams; Refine documents as necessary throughout the change or enhancement lifecycle
• Collaborate with IT representatives in the technical design and development of components to meet the business requirements; meet with appropriate personnel for periodic reviews of prototypes, demonstrations, etc.

• →Execute assigned periodic activities and document the results for review
• →Assign and review the completeness and quality of the periodic activities executed by team members. Provide feedback on specific improvement opportunities
• →Own Sharepoint sites and other tools
• →Identify and manage ongoing process improvement initiatives
• →Collaborate with entire team Provide morning, evening, and weekend support when necessary including for global coverage
• →Frequent travel to business related locations, including internationally
• →Complete any other tasks assigned by his / her supervisor
• →Manage Managed Service Provider budgets & review and approve associated ecosystem invoices
• →Perform duties as assigned by leadership

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
• Certifications with System 21 Aurora and JBA products preferred
• Minimum 8+ years in business
• Experience configuring SYS21 and related applications
• Proven ability to manage day to day operational tasks while delivering projects
• Accustomed to working on various issues simultaneously and ensuring the integrity of each activity
• Managed multiple vendor contacts and relationships
• Experience working with of global / multi-region
• Exercises a high degree of latitude in determining day to day tasks to achieve agreed upon objectives and communicates overall plans and status with the manager on a periodic basis
