Material Handler

IEM is currently seeking a Material Handler for our Greenfield, IN location and will report into the Shipping Manager.

• →Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, components, and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips
• →Unload and stage incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• →Store materials in designated locations in accordance with inventory management procedures and safety requirements
• →Pick, kit, and stage materials for production orders accurately and on time to support manufacturing schedules
• →Issue materials to the production floor and obtain required sign-offs to maintain accurate inventory records
• →Conduct cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits; investigate and report discrepancies
• →Coordinate with the Production Planning and Scheduling teams to prioritize material movement based on production needs
• →Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and on the production floor in compliance with 5S standards
• →Package and prepare finished goods or sub-assemblies for transfer or shipment as directed
• →Operate material handling equipment safely and report maintenance needs promptly
• →Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, material flow, and warehouse organization
• →The candidate will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is an asset
• 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling role
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification; experience with pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems; experience with INFOR/SyteLine is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling parts, components, and documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to shifting priorities
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with production, planning, and scheduling teams
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organization

Compensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
