Infrastructure Software Engineer (f/m/div)

Your Role As an Infrastructure Software Engineer, you will be the bridge between physical data center operations and modern automation. You will not only manage critical power, cooling, and hardware systems but also build the software tools that make these operations smarter, safer, and more efficient. Key responsibilities in your new role * Manage administrative tasks and DevOps processes for internal tools and services, such as NetBox, Grafana and our in-house developed solutions * Build and maintain small APIs, automation scripts, and applications using C#/.NET, Angular, Python, Rust, and PowerShell * Analyze and define technical requirements to continuously improve internal workflows and tooling efficiency * Develop and support dashboards for real-time monitoring, CMDB/asset management, and operational transparency * Create and maintain comprehensive reports and charts based on internal data center metrics Your Profile You are a proactive problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments. You communicate clearly, collaborate well across teams, and take full ownership of your work. Adaptable and curious, you stay calm under pressure, ask the right questions to find root causes, and are eager to learn and mentor others. Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering (or related field). * Experience with data center/server room operations and coordination with facility management for maintenance and troubleshooting. * Familiarity with IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network) and deployment/migration activities. * Experience with C#/.NET fundamentals (ideally built small projects or APIs) * Experience with modern web frameworks, Angular preferred. Strong skills in Vue or React with willingness to master Angular are welcome. * SQL basics: relational modeling and clean, efficient queries. * Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills. * Very good command of English. Nice to have: * Scripting/automation with Python or PowerShell. * DevOps tooling: Git, Docker; interest in GitLab Pipelines. * Platform operations: Kubernetes; familiarity with Helm or Kustomize. * Interest in high-performance coding (e.g., Rust) for low-latency data processing. * Comfortable collaborating with global teams across time zones.
