Senior Specialist Procurement

Manage and drive value-added improvements for the procurement of selected commodities. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role * Provide efficient high level administrative support to ensure the smooth day to day operations of the department. * Serve as the local buyer responsible for selected commodities (production materials or services). * Negotiate effectively and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards and requirements. * Take initiative to contribute to the team and proactively assist team members when needed. * Utilize knowledge gained within Procurement (PROC) to improve team performance and streamline processes. * Enforce procurement controls through the implementation of relevant procurement processes and methodologies within Infineon. * Possess a strong understanding of end to end procurement, business administration and planning processes, as well as related tools and methods. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, with strong business administration knowledge and experience. * Preferably 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, business administration, or planning functions within a manufacturing environment. * Good knowledge of purchasing, business administration, and planning processes, tools and methodologies. * Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential. * Proficiency in SAP MM, SES, SIM, Softcon, SAP DMS, supplier strategy development, negotiation techniques, Tableau, KPI reporting and other procurement tools.
