Senior SAP MM Consultant

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP MM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Materials Management (MM) module, including configuration, implementation, and integration with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, and FICO. Prior exposure to the retail or manufacturing industry is highly desirable. As a Senior SAP MM Consultant, you will play a critical role in managing procurement and inventory processes, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring seamless system integration. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to deliver robust and scalable SAP MM solutions. Responsibilities: Lead SAP MM implementations, enhancements, and upgrades, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Configure and customize SAP MM modules, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Vendor Evaluation, and Invoice Verification. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design efficient SAP MM solutions. Integrate SAP MM with other modules such as SD, PP, FICO, and WM to support end-to-end business processes. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM-related issues in production and provide ongoing support. Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality deliverables. Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users. Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best practices in procurement and inventory management. Stay updated on the latest SAP MM functionalities, tools, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in SAP MM implementation and support. Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP MM modules and processes, including Purchase Orders, Stock Transfers, and Material Master Data. Strong understanding of procurement and inventory management processes. Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM is highly desirable. Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, and FICO. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributed teams. Preferred Skills: SAP MM certification is a plus. Exposure to retail or logistics industry processes. Knowledge of EDI/IDoc processing for procurement scenarios. Experience in SAP WM or EWM is an added advantage. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
