We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Wastewater Operator to join our team in a critical, hands-on role supporting safe and efficient plant operations. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working overnight shifts on a rotating 12-hour schedule, including weekends and holidays, and is ready to respond when the unexpected happens.
What You’ll DoAs a key member of our operations team, you will:
Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment such as pumps, valves, motors, belt presses, and disinfection systems
Perform routine testing, process monitoring, and basic laboratory analysis
Maintain and troubleshoot treatment systems, ensuring optimal performance
Record and track plant data, including flow rates, chemical usage, and system performance
Respond to after-hours emergencies and callouts to repair equipment and systems
Conduct preventative maintenance and support mechanical and electrical repairs
Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and secure at all times
Provide excellent internal and external customer service when needed
Follow all safety, regulatory, and operational procedures
What You Bring
We’re seeking candidates with prior wastewater or water treatment experience who are ready to hit the ground running.
Required:
Hands-on experience in water or wastewater treatment operations
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of process control, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices
Ability to perform maintenance and emergency repairs independently
Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Active Wastewater Operator License preferred
