You'll create, implement, and oversee temporary wayfinding strategies that support pedestrian flow and user experience.
You'll assess signage quality, visual appeal, and adherence to standards and recommend sign types specific to each project.
You'll manage multiple collaborative wayfinding projects with multidisciplinary teams, including staff with technical and non-technical backgrounds, coordinate across various disciplines and meet multiple deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environment.
You'll read, interpret, and analyze project schedules, Gantt charts, and design plans as well as evaluate signage needs based on construction activities, environmental factors, and user expectations to maintain effective wayfinding.
You'll utilize your in-depth understanding of signage materials, fabrication methods, color theory, typography, and font specifications alongside your knowledge of signage, temporary wayfinding, and mapping industry best practices.
You'll review projects' submittals Phasing Plan and Site Logistics Plans as submitted through the ASR and LIR processes with a keen eye for wayfinding impacts.
You'll use your strong visualization skills to develop concepts, location plans, and proposed wayfinding paths of travel with high visual impact.
You'll oversee the planning, production, and installation of temporary wayfinding that translates complex information into easy-to-understand visuals.
You'll evaluate signage effectiveness and update plans as needed.
You'll track phasing for production and installation schedules across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and a holistic approach across projects.
You'll verify the quality and consistency of signage and wayfinding elements to ensure visual appeal and usability across all materials.
Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. You may be required to work various shifts, including day, swing, and night.
10 years or more experience, preferably on airport building programs or similar complex building programs
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required
Master's degree preferred
Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP etc. or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certifications
