Now Hiring for Our New Specialty and Emergency Hospital Opening October 2026

Address:

4500 N Shallowford Rd
Dunwoody, GA 30338
Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is growing.

Following the success of our flagship specialty and emergency hospital in Marietta, Georgia, we are proud to announce the opening of our second hospital in Dunwoody, GA, scheduled to open in October 2026.

We are actively building our founding Diagnostic Imaging Team and seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians, Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs), Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs), and highly skilled Veterinary Assistants with backgrounds in Diagnostic Imaging, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, or Specialty Care.

Selected candidates will begin onboarding and training at our established Marietta hospital beginning July-August 2026, providing a unique opportunity to train alongside experienced specialists, radiologists, surgeons, and emergency clinicians before transitioning into our brand-new Dunwoody facility.

This is more than a job.

This is an opportunity to help build one of Georgia's premier specialty and emergency hospitals from the ground up.
We would still love to connect.

As we continue expanding our specialty services, we anticipate future opportunities supporting:
  • Surgery and Anesthesia
  • Cardiology
  • Dermatology
  • Neurology
  • Oncology
  • Internal Medicine
  • Emergency and Critical Care (ER/ECC)
If your interests lie elsewhere in specialty medicine, we encourage you to apply and discuss your career goals with our team.
You may be an ideal fit if you:
  • Have experience supporting emergency, ICU, anesthesia, surgery, or specialty medicine
  • Enjoy advanced diagnostics and complex medical cases
  • Take pride in technical precision and image quality
  • Have strong anesthesia monitoring skills
  • Enjoy working with advanced imaging technology
  • Thrive in a collaborative specialty environment
  • Are interested in pursuing a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) pathway
  • Want to contribute directly to patient diagnosis and treatment planning
