Address: 4500 N Shallowford Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338
Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is growing.
Following the success of our flagship specialty and emergency hospital in Marietta, Georgia, we are proud to announce the opening of our second hospital in Dunwoody, Georgia, scheduled to open in October 2026.
We are actively building our founding Internal Medicine team and are seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians, Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs), Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs), Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs), and highly skilled Veterinary Assistants with experience in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Specialty Medicine, or high-volume General Practice.
Selected candidates will begin onboarding and training with our established Marietta team beginning August–September 2026, providing a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists, emergency clinicians, and leadership teams before transitioning into our brand-new Dunwoody facility.
This is more than a job.
This is an opportunity to help build one of Georgia's premier specialty and emergency hospitals from the ground up.
We would still love to connect.
As we continue expanding our specialty services, we anticipate future opportunities supporting:
- Surgery
- Anesthesia
- Neurology
- Oncology
- Cardiology
- Dermatology
- Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology)
- Emergency and Critical Care
If your passion lies elsewhere in specialty medicine, we encourage you to apply and discuss your long-term career goals with our team.
You may be an ideal fit if you:
- Enjoy solving complex medical cases and diagnostic challenges
- Have experience supporting chronic disease management and advanced patient care
- Thrive in a collaborative, referral-level environment
- Enjoy building long-term relationships with patients and clients
- Have strong technical nursing skills and attention to detail
- Want to work alongside specialists managing some of the most medically complex cases in veterinary medicine
- Are interested in pursuing advanced technician development or future VTS opportunities
