TITLE: Extrusion Technician C   POSITION OBJECTIVE: Operate in a safe and efficient manner so as to be productive, while maintaining high quality product with strict deadlines   QUALIFICATIONS: Good oral and written communication skills Mechanical Aptitude Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine operations required to set up, operate and adjust multiple polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with conveying and winding equipment to produce integral zipper plastic tubing. Work from prescribed production goals and standards, schedules, manuals, detailed specifications, consultations with bag department, shift leadership, maintenance, purchasing and others. Ensure the availability of raw materials and other requirements and requisition needed items. Work with shift supervisor and team members to establish team production, scrap and quality goals and ensure completion. Perform simple calculations for daily production totals and quality results. Maintain necessary production, quality and equipment records.   WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour Subject to loud noises Hazards, such as moving machinery, electrical currents, debris, chemicals, gases   TRAINING: Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations. cGMP's and SOP's.   PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Stooping/Bending Kneeling Reaching Standing for long periods of time Grasping Getting on/off forklift
