DISPENSING OPERATOR - Second Shift

TITLE: Dispensing Operator B   POSITION OBJECTIVE: Under minimal supervision, perform manufacturing tasks as assigned in the Manufacturing Department   QUALIFICATIONS: Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. Proficiency in basic math is required. A minimum of one year of equivalent machine operation experience required. Prior experience in a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical environment, familiar with manufacturing processes and equipment procedures preferred. Experience with tablet presses or encapsulation machines preferred. High School Diploma.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate and clean manufacturing equipment. Transport bulk raw material from staging area to compounding weight room. Verify all bulk raw materials for accuracy and quantities received. Weight individual raw materials as per the product formula and follow batching procedures. Perform changeover and set-up of designated manufacturing equipment. Practice Good Manufacturing procedure as trained in cGMP training. Required to wear appropriate safety equipment and adhere to safety procedures and                                Federal and State regulations. Assist manufacturing supervisor in the collection and summarization of in-line Q.C.data. Follow procedures described in SOP’s (Q.C. and MFG.) and report deviations to the immediate supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP’s), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures. Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.   TRAINING: Working knowledge of Safety in the Workplace Rules and Regulations, preferred. Working knowledge of cGMP's, a plus.   MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE: knowledge of Lockout/Tag out and MSDS   PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Ability to lift up 50 lbs. Ability to stand up for 8-10 hours daily.
