We are a high-growth, healthcare technology company redefining how patients get — and pay for — their medications.
We are scaling rapidly:
~40% organic growth
$100M+ ARR expected this year
Expanding EBITA margins
Strong backing from Bain Capital
Recent M&A has positioning the platform for the next phase of scale
Reporting to the COO and partnering closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), this role acts as a force multiplier across the organization — driving strategic initiatives, improving enterprise execution, and accelerating value creation.
This role is designed for a high-agency, high-capacity leader who thrives in complex environments and wants to help scale a platform business through its next stage of growth.
For the right individual, this is a launchpad role: after 18–24 months driving enterprise-critical initiatives, this position is expected to evolve into a senior operating leadership role.
The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic and execution partner to the COO and ELT with responsibility for advancing key enterprise priorities:
Accelerating value creation initiatives
Improving cross-functional execution and accountability
Embedding AI and automation across the organization
Supporting M&A integration and margin expansion
Strengthening executive-level decision support and communications
Success in the first 6–12 months will be defined by delivering measurable impact across several high-priority initiatives, including:
Embedding AI across internal workflows to drive productivity gains
Supporting pricing and packaging optimization
Identifying operational efficiencies and technology consolidation opportunities
Supporting post-acquisition integration and synergy realization
The Chief of Staff must quickly earn trust by mobilizing cross-functional teams, driving disciplined execution, and delivering results.
Responsibilities
~1 min readThe scope of the role will evolve based on enterprise priorities. Key areas of focus include:
Leading a pricing and packaging refinement effort to improve revenue quality and consistency across business units
Driving a vendor and technology spend review to identify cost savings and eliminate overlapping tools
Supporting margin expansion initiatives through automation or cost structure optimization projects
Reducing operational risk by identifying and addressing single points of failure across key partnerships or integrations
Supporting post-acquisition integration efforts, including synergy tracking and operational harmonization
Identifying and prioritizing high-impact AI use cases across operations, commercial, finance, or support functions
Partnering with Product and Engineering to implement internal AI tools that increase productivity
Driving adoption of automation initiatives to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
Establishing governance frameworks and ROI tracking for AI-related investments
Leading preparation and coordination of board or investor materials during key reporting cycles
Partnering with ELT leaders to shape strategic narratives around growth, margin expansion, or integration progress
Improving executive reporting processes to increase clarity and reduce preparation burden
Conducting deep-dive analyses to inform major executive or board-level decisions
The Chief of Staff operates through influence rather than formal authority, helping align teams around shared priorities and ensuring follow-through on critical initiatives.
Given the company’s recent acquisitions and continued growth, the role requires the ability to build trust quickly across teams, functions, and operating cultures.
Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, high-performance, analytically rigorous environments (e.g., strategy, operations, finance, or transformation roles).
Background in high-growth SaaS or healthcare technology environments
Exceptional analytical horsepower and structured thinking
Strong business judgment and comfort with ambiguity
The ability to move seamlessly between analysis and execution
Executive presence and strong communication skills
High EQ and ability to build trust across functions
This is not an administrative coordinator role. This is a central leadership role at a pivotal moment.
We are growing rapidly, expanding margins, integrating companies, and positioned to redefine how patients access and pay for medications for the next generation.
For a high-agency, high-capacity leader who wants to build at scale — this is a career-defining inflection point.
The selected candidate will also participate in Bain Capital’s Emerging Growth Leader (EGL) Program, a leadership development network designed for high-impact operators within Bain Capital’s technology portfolio.
Bain Capital will host EGL Summits several times each year, including at least one in-person event at Bain Capital's Boston headquarters. These gatherings are designed to spark idea exchange, sharpen skills, and deepen participants' understanding of private equity investing.
EGLs join an executive network that includes Bain Capital’s investment and operating professionals — bringing deep expertise across general investment strategy, operations, and specialized focus areas including technology, AI, talent management, and organizational change. In addition, EGL participants will be part of a wider community with the Business Transformation Partner (BTP) program of our North America Private Equity fund. Together, these programs create a connected, collaborative network of operators working toward shared goals.
The strongest EGL candidates are strategic and tactical problem solvers with a hands-on orientation. They know how to drive real operating change, create urgency, and bring others along with them. They are equally comfortable building strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks as they are rolling up their sleeves to identify practical improvement opportunities, and following through to implement them.
