Job Description: Admissions officer


The Admissions Officer leads and oversees the end-to-end admissions process across all school programmes, ensuring alignment with the School Admission Policy and overall enrollment strategy. This role acts as a strategic and operational bridge between families, academic teams, learning support, and marketing, managing capacity planning, admissions reporting, and parent communication with clarity and precision. Through data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and active participation in open days and marketing initiatives, the Admissions Officer drives sustainable enrollment growth while delivering a seamless, high-quality admissions experience aligned with the school’s mission and standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Organise and oversee the full admissions process for three different programmes in accordance with the School Admissions Policy
  • Manage all stages of student admissions, including enquiries, applications, assessments, offers, and enrolment
  • Conduct and coordinate entrance exams and student assessments, both online and in person
  • Organise and deliver school tours and admissions meetings for prospective families
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing guidance and support throughout the admissions process
  • Respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner via email, phone, and in person
  • Collaborate closely with academic staff and the Learning Support team to ensure a smooth and appropriate placement process for students
  • Coordinate and schedule admissions-related meetings, interviews, and assessments
  • Prepare and present weekly admissions reports, including application numbers, conversions, and pipeline updates
  • Participate in Marketing and Admissions meetings, Open Days, and school promotional events
  • Maintain accurate admissions data and ensure all records are updated in line with school systems and procedures
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service and a positive experience for all prospective families


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree considered an advantage).
  • Proven experience in admissions or administrative roles within an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of admissions policies, enrollment planning, and capacity management across multiple programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience engaging parents, students, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to produce and interpret admissions data and weekly performance reports.
  • Experience working collaboratively with academic teams, learning support, and marketing functions.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to and execute enrollment and growth strategies.
  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Confidence in leading meetings, coordinating schedules, and representing the school at open days and events.
  • Strong IT literacy, including admissions systems, CRM or school management platforms, and standard office tools.

Working Hours:


Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (maximum 8 hours per day)
