itD is seeking a Data Labeling Analyst II to support AI-powered content moderation initiatives by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of content moderation decisions. This role plays a critical part in improving AI model performance by validating moderation outcomes, developing quality benchmarks, analyzing performance trends, and partnering with internal teams and external vendors to enhance content quality. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in content moderation, quality assurance, and data analysis, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and maintaining high-quality standards in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Review and evaluate content moderation decisions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established policies and guidelines.
- →Develop and maintain quality benchmark datasets ("golden sets") used to measure and calibrate moderation performance.
- →Partner with external vendors to calibrate moderation quality, provide actionable feedback, and implement performance improvements.
- →Analyze quality metrics and operational data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and support quality assurance initiatives.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, policy, and leadership, to align on quality standards and process enhancements.
- →Identify opportunities to improve moderation workflows, quality assurance processes, and operational efficiency.
- →Participate in ongoing training to stay current on content moderation policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- →Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
- →Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
- →Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
- →Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
- →Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
- →Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Requirements
~1 min read- 4+ years of experience in content moderation, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of content moderation policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Experience reviewing and validating content moderation decisions for accuracy and consistency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with vendors or external partners.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Experience using content moderation platforms and tools.
- Certification in content moderation or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for content moderation and quality assurance.
- Prior experience investigating fraud or supporting fraud detection initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
