Internship - MCP based agent for iWE Automation (H/F)

This is a 3-month internship for summer 2026. The intern will join the Dev team and work under the supervision of a senior developer. The goal of this internship is to study the options for creating an agent that triggers and executes automations on iWE using Model Context Protocol (MCP).

  Study the various approaches, frameworks, and existing solutions for building LLM-based agents using MCP.

  You will interface with the MCP but won’t have to setup one.

  Evaluate how MCP can be used as an interface between an AI agent and the iWE platform.

  Develop a working prototype of an agent capable which will execute automation workflows based on specific triggers.

  Determine how to make the agent's behavior configurable by an iWE low-code application developer.

• Tool & protocol selection : evaluate the pros and cons of available MCP-compatible frameworks and agent architectures.

• MCP integration: design and implement the communication layer between the agent and iWE using the Model Context Protocol.

• Agent design / workflow construction: define how the agent interprets triggers and translates them into iWE automation actions.

• Testing and monitoring: devise how to test, validate, and monitor the agent's behavior and the automations it generates.

• Programming skills in JavaScript and Typescript.

• Interest in LLMs, prompt engineering, AI Agents, and automation platforms.

• Familiarity with API design and integration patterns is a plus.
