This role is offered as a hybrid in Katowice with the expectation to be in the office 2 days per week. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Poland or who have sponsorship to live and work in Poland. 

 

Responsibilities

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The HR Generalist is a key member of the HR Operations team, responsible for supporting employees and front-line managers across assigned locations. They serve as a go-to partner, providing expertise in benefits programs, HR systems, policies, and processes. The HR Generalist supports both day-to-day operational activities and strategic initiatives that enhance employee experience and drive organizational excellence.

  • Serves as the local HR representative for assigned locations, maintaining knowledge of local employment legislation, HR policies and practices, including GDPR and applicable Polish data protection regulations, to ensure compliance and alignment with company standards.
  • Acts as the initial point of contact for employees and managers within the assigned region/s; providing advice and support in the areas of labor law regulations, people processes and internal HR procedures.
  • Delivers onboarding for new employees locally, including coordinating payroll, benefits and employment documentation through approved HR systems and processes.
  • Coordinates employee lifecycle activities including promotions, transfers and offboarding, ensuring accurate system updates and compliance with company policies.
  • Administers local benefits and incentive programmes.
  • Supports expatriate employees with immigration and local registration processes, in line with local regulations and internal systems and processes.
  • Responds to complex questions and concerns from employees regarding HR programs and services; escalates sensitive or potential issues to senior colleagues and management as appropriate.
  • Administers employee leaves of absence, statutory reporting and working time records using approved HR systems.
  • Maintains accurate employee records in Workday and other approved systems, ensuring personal data is handled securely, confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and company policies.
  • Coordinates statutory reporting and exchanges of employee data with external providers and government authorities (such as ZUS, tax office, payroll and pension providers) using approved secure processes.
  • Supports continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and reporting in partnership with the HR Systems team, to improve efficiency, compliance and data integrity.
  • Supports HR Ops leadership with the design and development of HR back-end systems, programs, tools and processes with a focus on privacy-by-design.
  • Partners with HR Operations, Payroll & Benefits, HR Business Partners, HR Systems &Technology, Legal and other stakeholders to deliver an effective employee experience.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

  • 2-4 years human resources experience within a global organization (preferably within the hi-tech industry) (required).
  • Business level Proficiency in English (required) and additional European language is desirable. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of the team (required).
  • Practical knowledge of Labor Law (required) and Working Time regulations in the assigned region.
  • Curiosity to learn about HR and relevant labor laws in new jurisdictions is welcome.
  • Proven analytical skills: able to analyze complex queries within the scope of expertise and propose relevant and practical solutions (required).
  • Great communicator at all levels across the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of management and employees.
  • Ability to prioritize in the face of multiple and sometimes overlapping priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
