Our trusted defense, security, and geopolitical information delivered through seamless digital platforms and system integrations—turns overwhelming data into clear, actionable intelligence and insight. By filling critical information gaps, Janes helps customers analyze threats, accelerate decisions, and stay ahead of emerging challenges.
The Geoeconomic Threat Intelligence (GTI) team sits at the intersection of global business activity and national security. We track, structure, and analyse foreign investment, commercial expansion, and economic statecraft — turning raw business data into actionable defence intelligence. In this role, you will research, verify, and analyse Chinese and Russian commercial activity globally — including investments, infrastructure projects, joint ventures, and corporate ownership structures. Your work will directly contribute to structured datasets and analytical products consumed by defence and intelligence customers.
This is a data-driven analytical role. You will spend your time identifying and verifying transactions, maintaining database records to rigorous quality standards, and producing written assessments that contextualise geoeconomic trends and risks.
