Global Head of Accounts Payable

We are looking for a Global Head of Accounts Payable to lead the transformation of our global accounts payable (AP) function and shape a scalable, future-ready finance operations model.

This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end ownership of the AP function, positioned at the core of our finance transformation. The role goes beyond operational excellence. It is about redesigning how AP operates globally, driving automation, and building a function that can support JetBrains’ continued growth.

You will play a central role in aligning the Accounting, Procurement, and Treasury teams to ensure an efficient and integrated procure-to-pay (P2P) ecosystem.

• Define and execute the AP target operating model.
• Lead the restructuring and standardization of AP processes globally.
• Contribute to the broader transformation of finance and accounting in the company.

• Act as a key leader in the rollout of the new P2P platform.
• Ensure strong alignment between the Procurement and AP teams.
• Improve invoice quality, purchase order compliance, and process efficiency.

• Implement AP automation and invoice processing solutions.
• Reduce manual intervention and increase straight-through processing.
• Establish a data-driven, technology-enabled AP function.

• Partner with the Treasury team to implement the new treasury management system.
• Manage global payment processes, controls, and workflows.
• Ensure visibility and control over global cash outflows.

• Establish global governance, KPIs, and service delivery standards.
• Enable seamless onboarding of new entities into the AP model.
• Evolve the function towards a potential shared services center.

• Build and lead high-performing global AP teams.
• Strengthen digital, analytical, and process capabilities within the function.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

• Proven leadership experience in global AP or P2P operations.
• A strong track record in transforming finance operations at scale.
• Experience with ERP and P2P platforms.
• The ability to operate at the intersection of finance, procurement, and technology.
• Strong change leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic, hands-on leadership style combined with strategic thinking.

This role is critical to building a scalable and efficient finance backbone for JetBrains. You will define how the AP function operates globally – not only for today, but for the next stage of the company’s growth.
