The Financial Application Development team supports key finance and accounting processes by maintaining reliable internal systems, improving workflows, and helping internal users work effectively with the tools they depend on every day. This role combines hands-on support, technical investigation, system configuration, and user enablement.
- Provide internal customer support and technical support to internal users through different communication channels.
- Investigate issues end to end, identify root causes, and help drive them to resolution.
- Reproduce bugs and collect the details needed for further technical analysis.
- Perform changes in our accounting system, including creating new fields, updating email and PDF templates, and adjusting roles and permissions.
- Create and maintain saved searches and reports to support business needs and improve visibility.
- Adjust system configurations and customizations to support changing operational requirements.
- Train users on how to perform specific tasks in NetSuite and help them use the system with confidence.
- Create and maintain internal documentation so knowledge is structured, accessible, and easy to reuse.
- Ability to investigate complex technical issues while understanding both the accounting and technical impact.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of NetSuite.
- Background in Finance or Accounting.
- Take a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and enjoy getting to the root cause of issues.
- Balance a service-oriented mindset with ownership and sound judgment when working with internal stakeholders.
- Enjoy improving processes, documentation, and system setup – not just resolving one-off requests.
- Like helping others learn and feel comfortable using internal tools and workflows.
