POSITION SUMMARY:

To get trucks loaded and unloaded in a timely and accurate manner. To maintain a safe and clean work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Loads and unloads trucks using forklifts and pallet jack when necessary.

Loaders pick orders for incoming truck loads. They also unload inbound product coming.

Forklift operators also prepare freezer for inventory and conduct year end inventory.

Conducts daily forklift checklist.

Follows safety procedures during forklift operation.

Clean up freezer when requested. Participate in taking repacking items to production when requested.

Requires driving a forklift on a daily basis. Must have a forklift certification. Must be able to have basic math and reading skills. Must be able to have vision in both eyes. All limbs will be necessary to accomplish job duties.

Works in a freezer with temperatures reaching minus 20 degrees F. Must be able to lift some light to heavy equipment and product.

Drive Bobtail truck to perform tranfers between plant and freezer and ocacionally to our vendors.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
