École Jeannine Manuel, located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, is an international school established in 1954. A private, secular institution under contract with the French state and associated with UNESCO, it welcomes 2,380 students of 72 different nationalities, from preschool through 12th grade. Its mission is to promote international understanding through a bilingual education that begins in early childhood.

École Jeannine Manuel is seeking a strategic and expert Higher Education Advisor / College Counselor to join our dedicated team.

Reporting directly to the Head of School, you will be a lead architect for our students' international academic futures, focusing on providing elite-level guidance for the most selective pathways.

Key Areas of Impact

• Personalized Academic Mentorship: Guide students from Grades 10 through 12 in developing academic plans that align with their post-secondary goals and identifying their "best fit" universities.
• Global Representation: Represent the school at prestigious international forums, including NACAC, International ACAC, UCAS, and the CIS Global Forum.
• Collaborative Leadership: Work with high school directors and faculty to ensure a comprehensive advising program that supports the academic and career development of all students.
• High-Stakes Advocacy: Craft individualized, compelling letters of recommendation and manage the submission of all critical university materials.
• Program Innovation: Review and refine the advising program annually to align with global best practices and evolving admission statistics.

The Ideal Profile

We are seeking a professional with either experience as a college counselor specializing in U.S. university admissions, or prior experience as an admissions officer at a liberal arts college or university in North America.
