The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor (12MO). The successful candidate will:
- Serve as a full-time faculty member providing classroom and lab instruction in assigned courses as part of the CAAHEP curriculum.
- Assess student learning and skills and provide academic advisement.
- Provide mentorship of senior projects as well as participation in clinical site supervision, student recruitment, and college service.
- Maintain ARDMS credentials and clinical practice experience.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. College/University.
- Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- Prior clinical work experience.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer literacy and strong organizational skills.
- Or an acceptable equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Master’s Degree.
- RDCS, RDMS, RVT certifications.
Variable Days; Variable Hours (Full-Time)
