The Fetal Health Center Program Coordinator, in collaboration with Fetal Health Center leaders, physicians, and staff, is responsible for ongoing leadership and operations of the Fetal Health Center Services at Children's Mercy Hospital. The Program Coordinator promotes safe, quality, comprehensive patient and family services through effective participation with the interdisciplinary team.

If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Fetal Health Center leadership team for the nursing services required within the Fetal Health Center (FHC) to support high quality care of patient and families.
  • Leads the development of structures and processes that set the standard for Fetal Health Center care and promotes safe, high quality care of patients and families within the Fetal Health Center.
  • Leads the application of new knowledge, technology, and innovation for the provision of safe, high quality patient care.
  • Shares responsibility for the quality of care provided by the Fetal Health Center and contributes to patient care quality initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required and 3-5 years experience Clinical and/or leadership experience in NICU, Neonatal Services, Obstetrics, Labor/Delivery, or Maternal Fetal Medicine. Fetal Surgery experience preferred. or
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
  • RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
  • Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
  • Specialty Certification relevant to unit's patient population (determined by Nurse Manager/Director) (required within two years) Required Upon Hire

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $41.85/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
