Visiting Analyst - Consumer Investments (gn) @ FoodLabs, Berlin

FoodLabs is looking for a Visiting Analyst to join our Consumer Investment team in Berlin. This is a 5–6 month internship starting July or August in which you will work directly alongside the investment team across the full deal cycle, from early-stage sourcing through due diligence, and provide active support to our portfolio founders on strategic and operational challenges.

As a Venture Capital Visiting Analyst, you will contribute to:

• Tracking F&B consumer trends and emerging startups; producing market intelligence that informs investment decisions.

• Supporting deal sourcing and investment assessment, from initial screening through detailed analysis.

• Working with portfolio companies on performance monitoring and strategic priorities.

• Representing FoodLabs at consumer events and conferences to build relationships within the community.

• A passion for the latest consumer trends and business models disrupting our food systems;

• Outstanding university degree (or currently enrolled) in the field of Business, Finance, or Economics;

• Work experience in a fast-paced environment (top-tier consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups);

• Curious about AI tools and excited to automate the boring stuff

• Ability to articulate opinions on opportunities and technologies;

• Analytical rigor in analyzing markets and understanding trends & technologies;

• Adaptability and flexibility to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment;

• Strong command of the English language - any additional European language is of advantage
