Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Ankeny Function: Operations (CA) Title: Inventory Analyst - 120631 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position ## Your Responsibilities As an Inventory Analyst for JD Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will: * Maintain accurate records for direct materials, reconcile discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective action * Work closely with Operations, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineers, Department Auditors, and other factory teams to ensure inventory accuracy * Participate in Cycle Counts and Quarterly Financial Inventory Audits * Implement projects designed to improve systemic inventory inaccuracies Shift: 1st - 6 am - 2:30 pm VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position ## What Skills You Need * 1 or more years in roles that demonstrate a working knowledge of Material Flow * 1 or more years in a manufacturing environment * 1 or more years demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy * 1 or more years collaborating with peers and teams cross functionally ## What Makes You Stand Out * Cross-functional work experience in Materials and at least one other function and/or factory * SAP Experience * Ability to collaborate and drive action within cross-functional teams * Proficient in analyzing data to uncover emerging trends and issues, ensuring timely and informed decision-making to help root cause issues impacting inventory accuracy * Experience working with UAW employees * Understanding assembly line and process design, material presentation and delivery ## Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience What You'll Get At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
