Location: Brasil (BR) - São Paulo - Indaiatuba Function: Data and Analytics (CA) Title: SR Data Engineer - Indaiatuba/SP - 119817 ## As a SR Data Engineer, for John Deere Financial (JDF) group, you will join a team to create data products for advanced analytics and model building in order to enable efficient customer service in various area such as automatic loan approvals. Our team partners with product managers and data practitioners to design, scale, and deliver full stack data solutions. ## Key Responsabilities * Develop data model and data pipeline, build rest APIs to provide data to downstream systems; * Perform debugging and fixing application issues, root cause analysis and help in proactive/preventive maintenance; * Perform code reviews, pair-programming and establish test automation processes; * Lead efforts to minimize technical debt; * Work as Agile team member and participate in back log refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, sprit retrospective; * Follow Security by design principles to define security framework around data pipelines and APIs; * Help new team member onboarding. ## Skill You Need * Bachelor's or higher degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience in a related career field; * Advanced English proficiency, including strong vocabulary and grammar, as well as the ability to lead meetings, present arguments, negotiate, and deliver training sessions; * Extensive hands-on experience with ETL processes, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and working with large-scale datasets; * Strong experience in API Development, specifically REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot; * Solid practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD); * Proven experience applying DevOps and lean development principles, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment, using tools such as Git and Jenkins; * Strong working knowledge of Data Engineering concepts, tools, and technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Databricks, Python, SQL databases, NoSQL databases, and Data Lake concepts); * Strong working knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, RDS, ECS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3; * Working knowledge of Generative AI concepts and Agentic patterns. ## What makes you stand out * AWS certification or working experience in AWS cloud or other cloud technologies; * Passionate, creative and have the desire to learn new complex technical areas; * Accountable, curious, and collaborative with an intense focus on product quality; * Skilled in interpersonal communications and ability to communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences; * Experience working in an agile team environment; * Demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, collaborative team environment that is distributed across time zones and locations. ### Our Main Benefits * Variable compensation * Health Insurance * Dental Plan * Life Insurance * Private Pension Plan * Vision Care Benefit * Vaccination reimbursement * Corporate University * TotalPass * Depending on the location, on-site cafeteria, meal voucher, or food allowance * Pharmacy assistance * And more ### Our Recruitment Process The selection process begins with your application.
