Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation, from intake to resolution
- →Draft and review pleadings, complaints, motions, and discovery responses
- →Direct and monitor the probate process in coordination with docket managers
- →Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and case-related documentation
- →Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, explain processes, and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism
- →Collaborate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, and other law firms involved in litigation
- →Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed
- →Contribute to process improvements by following and refining documented procedures
- →Provide assistance with overflow tasks and special projects as required
Requirements
~1 min read- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Tennessee State Bar membership required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or probate; mass tort or probate experience a plus
- Proven ability to handle depositions, hearings, and mediations preferred
- Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PACER and Excel experience helpful
