REGISTERED NURSE - (RIBUMED DAY HOSPITAL)

To provide age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

• Must be able to practice within your scope of practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Must be competent with the Hospital's Policies and Regulations.
• Ability to lead and supervise staff.
• Attend to patient care within the Ward.
• Attend to patient's complaints.
• Understand SANC and stakeholder legislation with compliance.

• Must be registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse with valid APC.
• Good interpersonal skills with doctors, patients and colleagues are essential.
• Preferably have two or more years of experience as a Registered nurse and working in a surgical ward.
• Must be prepared to work additional hours on request.
• Must have excellent telephone skills.
• Must possess excellent inter-personal skills.
• Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision.
• Must be computer literate – MS Word & Excel.
